Computational Fluid Dynamics

Flow and heat-transfer simulation to optimise designs before manufacturing.

Updated

Seeing the flow before it exists

CFD lets us test dozens of design variants on a computer. We use it to cut prototype cycles and to understand behaviour that is hard to measure.

What we simulate

  • Internal and external flow, laminar and turbulent
  • Heat transfer and cooling of electronics
  • Microfluidic and pipetting behaviour
  • Mixing and multiphase flow

Process

  1. Geometry cleanup and meshing
  2. Boundary conditions and solver setup
  3. Mesh-independence and validation checks
  4. Results with plots, animations and design recommendations

See the CFD analysis page for methodology.
